Biographical History
Marvin Sadik (1932-2013) was a curator at Bowdoin College Museum of Art from 1961- 1964 and director from 1954-1967. In 1967 he became the founding director at the University of Connecticut Art Museum. In 1969 he became the director of the National Portrait Gallery.
