Biographical Note

Scott Hamilton (1928-2005) was a member of the Taliesin Fellowship as apprentice in Architecture under Frank Lloyd Wright's direction. He grew up in Little Rock, Arkansas. He received degrees from Cornell University, Brasenose College, Oford University as a Fulbright Scholar, and from the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University with a M.A. in Public Administration. He served as a 1st Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force. Scott worked as a designer for Erhart, Eichenbaum, Rauch & Blass. He also worked as a designer for Herbe-Le Couteur in Paris, France and Alvar Aalto in Helsinki Finland.
