Content Description
Collection contains 17 photographs taken by Lida Moser of John Koch and his family. Photographs taken by Lida Moser of her friends (artist John Koch and pianist Dora Zaslavsky Koch) a their New York City apartment between 1954 and 1974. The Kochs moved into their apartment at the Eldorado building on 300 Central Park West in 1954. The apartment served as both home and primary workspace for the couple. Many of John Koch's paintings from this period are scenes within the apartment of work in his studio or glimpses of the Koch's home life. Lida Moser photographed the couple over the course of two decades in their apartment taking portraits of the Kochs at rest and with their work.
