Exhibition Summary
American photographer David Levinthal has been photographing small toys and collectibles in lifelike portrayals for the past five decades. In David Levinthal: Barbie and Baseball, a free, focus exhibition at Crystal Bridges, large photographs of immaculately styled Barbie dolls and plastic baseball figurines were posed in a way that makes them look real. These photographs, gifted to Crystal Bridges, were on display for the first time.
